About ASD-N
Anglophone North School District is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering a nurturing and innovative learning environment for all students.
Geographically, the District encompasses the Campbellton, Dalhousie, Bathurst, Miramichi and Rexton areas and serves just over 8000 students. ASD-N respectfully acknowledges Mi’kma’ki, the territory on which we live, work and learn. Mi’kma’ki is the unceded, unsurrendered homeland of the Mi’kmaq people. It is with great pride and much gratitude that ASD-N works with the nine First Nations communities that are located across the District.
With a strong commitment to academic excellence and personal growth, we believe that every learner deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our passionate educators and staff work collaboratively to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and resilience in our students, preparing them to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
As champions of experiential learning, we prioritize hands-on, real-world experiences that ignite curiosity and deepen understanding. Through field trips, special projects, and community partnerships, we connect classroom lessons to the world beyond. Our focus on outdoor learning is integral to this approach, as our schools are surrounded by natural environments that encourage activity, promote good health, and foster a deep connection to nature.
We embrace diversity and inclusivity, celebrating the unique backgrounds and talents of our students. With a commitment to technology integration and innovative programs, we empower learners to explore their passions and reach their full potential. Our schools prioritize a supportive atmosphere where everyone—students, families, and staff—feels valued and heard.
At Anglophone North, we are more than just a school district; we are a community united by a shared vision of excellence in education. Together, we are cultivating the leaders of tomorrow and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
