French as a Second Language

Our district provides various programs to help students enhance their skills in French as a second language.

Registration

Before registering your child, we ask that parents review the information posted to the ASD-N website, including a voice-over PowerPoint prepared by EECD titled “Everyone at Their Best Storyline”.

This year we will be hosting Face-to-Face meetings plus one virtual meeting for parents. To be able to participate in the virtual session, parents will have to download Zoom.

Information will be provided on the following French Second Language Programs available in Anglophone North School District:

· Grade 1 Entry Point (Early French Immersion)
· Grade 6 Entry Point (Late French Immersion)
· Grade 5 Intensive French Program

Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 at 5:30 pm
Miramichi Ed Center – 178 Henderson St.
Snacks will be offered

Monday, February 23rd, 2026 at 5:30 pm
Rexton Elementary School – 19 School St.
Snacks will be offered
