K-5 Student Wellness and Education Survey

Added Nov 14, 2025

The New Brunswick Health Council is conducting the 2025-26 Student Wellness and Education Survey in all public schools across the province throughout November. As part of this process, a survey is being sent specifically to parents and guardians of students in kindergarten through grade 5.

This survey collects important information about student wellness, including social and emotional development, physical health, experiences at school, and life in the community. The feedback shared by families helps schools, districts, and partners across New Brunswick strengthen programs and supports that contribute to student well-being.

Parents and guardians of K-5 students will receive a link to the survey directly from ASD-N. We encourage families to complete it, as your voice plays an important role in helping create positive learning environments for all students.

FAQ:

HOW DOES THE NBHC PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?

All information collected through this survey is anonymous.  No names are associated with the surveys, so the answers to a survey cannot be connected to a student. To ensure privacy, we’ve assigned each participant a unique, random code. Survey results will be analyzed and reported collectively, without revealing individual responses. Additionally, the survey adheres to the privacy laws of New Brunswick under the Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act

WHEN WILL THE SURVEY RESULTS BE AVAILABLE?

All provincial, zone, sector, district, and community results are available on the NBHC website in the spring following the survey administration. School results are also distributed to school administrators in the spring.
