Newcomer Registration

Complete the online pre-registration form if your child(ren) is a:

• Kindergarten to Grade 12 students not born in Canada.
• Kindergarten to Grade 12 students born in Canada who DO NOT speak English at home.

Once online pre-registration is complete, a member of the Newcomer Welcome Center will reach out to you to organize a meeting.

The following physical documentation will be required for registration and should be sent in to the Newcomer Welcome Center at [email protected]

• Birth certificate for your child/children
• Passport photo page for your child/children and both parents
• IRCC documents for each parent and child/children
• Proof of Immunization for your child/children
• School records for your child/children (if available)
• Proof of residence in NB
• Proof of application for NB Medicare or that you have applied at Service New Brunswick for it

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration in Anglophone School District North for September 2025 will be taking place from October 10th- 13th, 2024.

Registration is for children who will turn 5 before December 31, 2024.

Please call your community school to make an appointment, unless your child was born outside Canada or was born in Canada but does not speak English at home. In such cases, please refer to the newcomer registration process.

At the time of your appointment, you will be required to go into the school to complete registration. Please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate, proof of immunization and Medicare card.

Access to the school will not be permitted without an appointment. If you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, please contact the school to reschedule your appointment.
